Please note: LifeX is your home. Cleaners come in regularly but can't do it all by themselves. For example: they do take out trash, but if the trash can is full before they come, please take it down by yourself. Also: don't leave dirty dishes in the sink or in any shared space. Cleaners come to clean the apartment - not to wash dishes 😉

All LifeX apartments get cleaned weekly. Depending on the city, this either happens three times a week (with fewer hours) or two times a week (with longer hours).

Cleaning services set the baseline of cleanliness in the apartment. However, as a member you should alway clean up after yourself when using the kitchen for cooking, using the bathroom, etc. Remember, you are sharing the house with other individuals, so make sure to keep it a respectable, clean and cozy home. :)

The private rooms always get cleaned once a week. Please note: if the rooms are too messy with clothes lying around, etc, then the cleaners won’t be able to clean the rooms properly.

🛏️ Berendsen bed sheets cleaning [Only relevant for Copenhagen]:

A slightly different service is provided only in Copenhagen when it comes to bed sheet cleaning.

Every second Friday (LifeX will notify you via Slack a day before) you need to remove bed sheets, pillow and duvet covers, along with your towel, and stick it in a Berendsen laundry bag (it is red and blue) that is placed by the front door. This needs to be done before 10am. Housekeeping will take care of the rest so you will have a freshly made bed and towel to come home to. Not bad right?

Please note: The Berendsen service is ONLY for Berendsen products. If you put personal items in the Berendsen laundry bag, they will be thrown out. If you want a personal laundry service, check out Washa here.
