You can terminate your contract via our member app
If you happen to experience issues with the app while terminating, please write an email to [email protected] immediately stating the date you want to end your contract for.
You can only terminate the contract once you have stayed for the minimum duration.
You can terminate your membership with a minimum of one full calendar month's notice (not 30 days) as all contracts must end on the last day of the month. For example, if you would like your contract to terminate on January 31st, then the notice should be given anytime before December 31st.
Some more examples:
- You want to move out at the end of May, you cancel on April 31st. One full calendar month has been given, your contract will end May 31st.
- You want to move out at the end of August, you cancel on July 10th. One full calendar months notice has been given, your contract will end August 31st.
- You want to move out at the end of September, you cancel on September 2nd. One full calendar months notice has not been given, your contract will end October 31st.
Contract end date
Contracts always end on the last day of the month. You can move out of the apartment before the end of the month, but the contract always ends on the last day of the month.
Move out date
You can set your move-out date in the LifeX app. This date will be binding and will be an indicator of the Ops team for when to arrange a final cleaning of the room. You will need to be out by 9AM on the date you have filled in. If you need to change the date, please reach out us in the app.
Pausing the contract
We are not able to pause your contract under any circumstance. Holding an empty room while you are gone creates large expenses on LifeX side and we are not able to promise to have an empty room upon your arrival.
Your deposit will be refunded on the 10th of the month after your contract has ended (not the day you moved out). Please note that it can take up to 14 days to have the deposit back in your account.

Please leave your house key in your room on your desk.
Provide bank details and new address:
You can provide us with your bank details in the app upon termination, or send it later via the chat function in the app.
Please remember that even though you are moving out, you are always welcome to join the LifeX activities or events, or simply meet up for a coffee :)
