Check the LifeX app, we announce any planned water cuts to different apartments as soon as we get the message from our landlords.
Check if the whole apartment has no water or only certain rooms in the apartment.
HOFOR is the danish national water supplier.
Check out their website to see the current status of all maintenance work in the city. Find more info simply by typing in your home address in the search bar.
If your apartment is in the affected areas, you will be able to see updates regarding when the water will be back again when you click on the dot.
Breakdowns or acute closures do not always appear on the map. If you can not find the information you are looking for, you are welcome to call HOFOR's emergency line: +45 - 38 88 24 24.
If your water supply has been interrupted, it can lead to short-term discoloration of the water and that the taste changes. It is harmless to you as a user.
It's not about HOFOR! 😭
If there's no water cut shown in HOFOR's map, then most likely there's an urgent matter going on in the building, such as a blown water pipe that needs to be fixed right away.
In this case, LifeX couldn't really do anything to bring the water back. However, you might live in a building with many other neighbors who are affected by the emergency. So there might already be people who are reporting this issue to the landlord before we even hear about it. You can also inform us about this issue by sending us a message in the LifeX app.

Plumbers are probably working very hard in the meantime to fix it. You can be sure that you will have water back in your apartment within a couple of hours.
If it is the faucets inside the apartment that are not working, please reach out to LifeX immediately in the LifeX app.
