Does the entire apartment have no water, or is it only certain rooms? This will help us identify the issue faster!
💧 HOFOR: Danish National Water Supplier
HOFOR is the official water supplier for Copenhagen. Here’s how to check if your apartment is affected:
Visit HOFOR's website to check the current status of maintenance work in your area.
Type in your home address in the search bar to see if there are any updates related to your apartment.
If your apartment is in an affected area, you’ll be able to see when the water is expected to return by clicking on the dot on the map.
⚠️ Important: Some breakdowns or emergency closures might not appear on the map. If you can’t find the info you need, you can reach out to HOFOR's emergency line at:

Note: Interruptions to the water supply can sometimes lead to temporary discolouration or changes in taste, but it’s harmless! 💧
😭 No Info from HOFOR? It Might Be an Internal Issue!
If no outage is reported on HOFOR’s map, the problem could be due to an urgent issue in your building, like a broken water pipe that needs immediate repair.
In this case, LifeX cannot directly fix the issue, but here’s what you can do:
Talk to your neighbours: If others are affected, someone might have already reported the issue to the landlord.
Contact LifeX: Let us know via the LifeX app, and we’ll keep track of the situation.
🔥 No Hot Water? Here’s How to Fix It!
If your water is running but not hot, follow these steps:
🛠️ 1. Check If Hot Water Works in Other Rooms
Try multiple taps (kitchen, bathroom, shower) to see if the issue is isolated.
⏳ 2. Give It Some Time!
Sometimes, the system needs a few minutes to reset after maintenance or an outage.
