At LifeX, we always aim to provide the best possible connection, but sometimes, we depend on third-party providers to get things running smoothly.
Let's walk you through what to do if your internet isn't working or is unstable 👇
✅ Start with These Quick Checks
1️⃣ Check for any updates on the LifeX App
We'll let you know if there's any planned maintenance or known outages in your building or area as soon as we receive information.
2️⃣ Check your internet provider's status page
Internet services in Aarhus are provided through different operators, depending on the building and connection.
Some Danish providers include TDC/YouSee, Norlys, Hiper and GlobalConnect.
If you aren't sure which provider serves your apartment, feel free to message us via the LifeX app.

3️⃣ Check your router
Make sure:
The router is plugged in ⚡
All cables are properly connected.
The router's indicator lights are on.
Restart the router (turn it off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on).
Allow a few minutes for the connection to be restored.
4️⃣ Check the WiFi Access Points
Some homes have multiple WiFi access points throughout the apartment. These might look different depending on the model.
Make sure they are all properly connected and powered on 🔌
💻 Still No Internet?
If the problem continues, we'll need a bit more information to help troubleshoot the issue with the relevant provider.
🧪 Step 1: Run a Speed Test
On your device, go to fast.com or search Google for "speed test".
Take a screenshot of the results, including download and upload speeds.
Send it to us via the LifeX app.
💬 Step 2: Describe the Issue
Please let us know:
Is the internet completely down?
Is the connection dropping in and out?
Is the internet very slow?
Are all devices affected, or only one?
When did the issue start, and how often does it happen?
If possible, also let us know whether the router's internet indicator is on, blinking or off.
