If water is leaking from the ceiling in your apartment, please call the LifeX emergency number right away 🀯

πŸ‘‡ Before you try to call LifeX and fix the issue, check the following:

  1. Try to reach the upstairs neighbors as quickly as possible and tell them to turn off the main water valve.

  2. Check where is the leaking water coming from and specify the leaking areas. (Kitchen/bathroom ceiling, radiators).

  3. Mop up excess water quickly with a towel or mopper.

  4. Place a bucket/big container underneath the area of the drips.

  5. Be careful to not slip.

If this article isn't helpful, call your city emergency number. The emergency number is only in case of emergency such as water leaks. In case of fire or life-threatening situations, call 112.

For all cities except Paris, you can find it in the app, under Support < Emergency button in the top right corner.

For members in Paris, you can call Arthur, the Property Manager at +33 672893918.

Kindly note you can call us at any time in case of emergency. However, if you call outside of business hours, our teams will do their best to liaise with potential technicians, but will not physically come to take care of the issue themselves.
