👇 Before you try to fix the issue, check the following:

🚱 No Water at All? Check This First!

1️⃣ Check the LifeX App 📱

  • We announce any planned water cuts as soon as we receive updates from our landlords. Check the app for the latest info! 📲

2️⃣ Is It the Whole Apartment or Just Certain Rooms? 🏠

  • If only certain rooms are affected, it might be an internal plumbing issue.

  • If the entire apartment has no water, continue troubleshooting below!

💧 Berliner Wasserbetriebe: Berlin’s Water Supplier

Berliner Wasserbetriebe supplies water to your apartment. Here’s how to check for maintenance or outages:

  • Visit Berliner Wasserbetriebe’s website to check for planned maintenance or emergency outages.

  • Switch the language to English by clicking the button in the upper right corner or using Google Translate in Chrome.

  • Look for updates related to your apartment and check for planned maintenance or emergency repairs.

⚠️ Unexpected Water Outage?

If there’s no announcement on their website, the issue might be a blown water pipe or another urgent problem.

🛠️ What You Can Do:

  • Call Berliner Wasserbetriebe’s emergency line at:
    📞 0800 292 75 87

  • If you're too busy, contact LifeX through the app, and we’ll handle the situation for you!

No Water Cut Announced? It Might Be a Building Issue! 😭

If Berliner Wasserbetriebe’s website doesn’t show any outages, the issue could be inside your building (e.g., a broken water pipe).

🔍 What You Can Do:

  • Check with your neighbors – If multiple apartments are affected, someone might have already reported it.

  • Report it to LifeX via the app – We’ll investigate and coordinate the next steps.

Since this could be a wider emergency, your neighbors may have already informed Berliner Wasserbetriebe before we hear about it.

🔥 No Hot Water? Try This First!

If your water is running but not hot, follow these steps:

🛠️ 1. Check If Hot Water Works in Other Rooms

  • Try multiple taps (kitchen, bathroom, shower) to see if the issue is isolated.

2. Give It Some Time!

  • Sometimes, the system needs a few minutes to reset after maintenance or an outage.
