👇 Before you try to fix the issue, check the following:
Check the LifeX app for any announcements regarding internet outages due to scheduled maintenance work in your apartment or area.
Check the router and make sure that the lights are on. 🟢
Check the Wi-Fi access points in your apartment (they may come in different shapes)👇 and make sure they are plugged in.
If there are issues with the wifi after checking the above, then a simple router reset can usually resolve the issue.
How to Restart Your Router (Without Resetting to Factory Settings):
Please note that the router should not be reset to factory settings because all routers are preconfigured in advance by the internet provider for remote monitoring and troubleshooting. This applies to all apartments. Instead, we recommend restarting the router to refresh the connection.
Steps to Restart the Router:
Unplug the Router: Simply unplug the router's power cable from the socket. ⚡️
Wait a Few Seconds: Leave the router unplugged for about 10-30 seconds to ensure it powers down completely.
Plug it Back In: After waiting, plug the router’s power cable back into the socket.
Wait for the Router to Reboot: Allow the router a few minutes to restart and re-establish the connection. The lights on the router should begin blinking and stabilize once the restart is complete.
This process can help fix minor connectivity issues and refresh the router’s connection. 🔄
If the Internet Still Isn’t Working 🤔
If you’ve followed the above steps and your internet is still down, there may be an urgent interruption or operational issue on the provider's side. These interruptions can sometimes happen without prior notice, and in these cases, the internet should be back up within a few hours.

Internet is Back, But It’s Unstable? 😫
If your internet is back but still unstable (e.g., it drops in and out or is very slow), we’ll need some additional information to help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
Run a Speed Test: Simply google "speed test" to find free websites that can measure your download/upload speed. 🖥️
Send a Screenshot: Take a screenshot of the results and send it to us via the LifeX app.
Describe the Issue: Let us know when the internet is unstable, where in your apartment it’s happening, and how often it occurs. For example, does it drop completely or slow down intermittently?
