I've lost my LifeX keys, what do I do now?

Oh no! Please reach out to us via the chat in the app and we will coordinate getting a replacement key for you. Here’s what will happen next:

  1. Report the Lost Key: Notify LifeX via the app or customer support about the lost key.

  2. Ticket Creation: A ticket will be generated for your request, tracking progress and updates.

  3. Key Preparation: If a replacement set is available, it will be prepared for pickup, usually by the end of the working day.

  4. Confirmation and Pickup Procedure: Information about key collection and the process will be shared through the ticket system.

What fees do we apply?

The fee slightly varies based on the type of key and replacement.

1. If you lose your keys and need a new set, here are the fees:

  • Electronic/system key = 750 DKK / €100

  • Physical Key = 600 DKK / €80

  • Mailbox key = 350 DKK / €50 / 500 NOK

The fees can be cumulated if you need different keys. For example, if the set includes two physical keys and one mailbox key, you will be charged 1550 DKK / 210 EUR / 210 GBP.

2. If you forgot your keys somewhere, or are locked out and need a spare set:

These fees correspond to the operational costs to help you on short notice.

  • Locked out during working hours = 225 DKK / €30 / 700 NOK

  • Locked out outside working hours = 450 DKK / €60 / 700 NOK

  • Need a replacement set for a couple of days: 450 DKK / €60

  • Locked out during a public holiday - If you are locked out during a public holiday, you will need to contact an emergency locksmith at your own expense to regain access.

3. Other fees that can apply:

  • Delayed return of key after checkout day = 225 DKK / €30 per day

  • Key not returned after we provided a replacement set: 225 DKK / €30 per day

4. Physical key in Oslo:

  • It's not possible to get a physical key for our building in Oslo (Edvard units). If it turns out you absolutely need a physical key, we will provide one.

  • The cost to have a physical key is 800 NOK.

Track the progress of your replacement keys by keeping an eye on updates via the LifeX ticket system. This will ensure a seamless resolution to your issue.
