For new members moving to Denmark, addresses can be difficult to understand at first.

Thankfully, the explanation below will help you to understand and to find your way through your building:

  • TV - means” to the left” in Danish (T stands for Til (To) & V stands for Venstre (Left))

  • TH - means “to the right” (H stands for højre (right))

  • M - means “middle” (mellem)

  • Stue (st.) - this is the ground floor and not the 1st floor.

Example:

  • If your address includes, your apartment is located on the 2nd floor to the left

  • If your address includes st. th., your apartment is located on the ground floor to the right

Pretty easy no? 🤩
