๐ŸชŸ Why should I ventilate?

  • To clean the air

  • To prevent mold from developing

  • To avoid spreading germs

How to ventilate?

Don't

โŒConstant ventilation with a tilted window is the wrong way

Do

โœ… Several intense and quick ventilation with a fully opened window

โ†’ For intense ventilation, open the window fully for a short period of time, depending on the outside temperature:

  • 0 degrees and lower: 2-3 minutes

  • 5 degrees: 5 minutes

  • 10 degrees and higher: 8 minutes

๐Ÿ’ก The time varies because when the difference between outside and inside temperature is higher, air exchanges faster.

How often do I do it?

๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿ›‹In your bedroom and common areas:

  • Ventilate at least twice a day, ideally in the morning and in the evening.

๐Ÿ›€ In the bathroom:

  • The air should be fully exchanged after every shower.

๐Ÿ’ก Remember to set the thermostat to a minimum while ventilating, as you donโ€™t want to confuse the thermostat and blow all the precious heat out of the window.
