Move-in Procedure

Everything you need to know about moving into your LifeX home

🏡 Room Availability

  • Members typically move in on the 1st of the month.

  • Move-in time is 🕒 from 3 PM, regardless of the day you move in.

Early Move-In Requests

  1. If you wish to move in before 3 PM, contact the LifeX team via the app to check availability.

    • Coordinate with Housemates: You can also check with your future housemates via the LifeX app (Community > My Groups) to see if you can:
      ✅ Drop off some belongings before 3 PM.
      ✅ Leave them in common areas or storage rooms (if applicable).
      ✅ Allow the housekeeper to finish cleaning your room.

⚠️ Important: Early move-in is not guaranteed and must be coordinated.

🗓️ Moving In After Contract Start Date

  • You can move in later than your contract start date.

  • Please inform the team via the app in advance so we can ensure your keys are still available.

🧹 Room Cleaning & Condition

  • Your room is cleaned based on your contract start datenot your actual move-in date.

  • If you move in later, there may be some dust due to the time gap.

💡 Tip: If arriving late, bring some cleaning wipes for a quick refresh!

🚪 Move-In Process

  1. 🔑 Pick up your keys and arrive at your new home.

  2. 📝 Complete the Move-In Inspection Form in the app:

    • Go to "Moving In" section.

    • Select "Inspection Form" and fill it out.

    • Once submitted, the form cannot be reopened.

📌 Inspection Form Guidelines

  • The form must be completed within 2 weeks of your housekeeper’s inspection.

  • We recommend 📢 notifying us of your move-in date to ensure the form is ready upon arrival.

  • Attach 📸 photos of your room and common areas if needed.

✅ Your housekeeper 🧹 prepares and inspects the room before your arrival.
✅ If we miss anything, filling out the form ensures you are not held responsible for pre-existing damages or missing items when you move out.
