Everything you need to know about moving into your LifeX home

๐Ÿก Room Availability

  • Members typically move in on the 1st of the month.

  • Move-in time is ๐Ÿ•’ from 3 PM, regardless of the day you move in.

โณ Early Move-In Requests

  1. If you wish to move in before 3 PM, contact the LifeX team via the app to check availability.

    • Coordinate with Housemates: You can also check with your future housemates via the LifeX app (Community > My Groups) to see if you can:
      โœ… Drop off some belongings before 3 PM.
      โœ… Leave them in common areas or storage rooms (if applicable).
      โœ… Allow the housekeeper to finish cleaning your room.

โš ๏ธ Important: Early move-in is not guaranteed and must be coordinated.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Moving In After Contract Start Date

  • You can move in later than your contract start date.

  • Please inform the team via the app in advance so we can ensure your keys are still available.

๐Ÿงน Room Cleaning & Condition

  • Your room is cleaned based on your contract start date โ€“ not your actual move-in date.

  • If you move in later, there may be some dust due to the time gap.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: If arriving late, bring some cleaning wipes for a quick refresh!

๐Ÿšช Move-In Process

  1. ๐Ÿ”‘ Pick up your keys and arrive at your new home.

  2. ๐Ÿ“ Complete the Move-In Inspection Form in the app:

    • Go to "Moving In" section.

    • Select "Inspection Form" and fill it out.

    • Once submitted, the form cannot be reopened.

๐Ÿ“Œ Inspection Form Guidelines

  • The form must be completed within 2 weeks of your housekeeperโ€™s inspection.

  • We recommend ๐Ÿ“ข notifying us of your move-in date to ensure the form is ready upon arrival.

  • Attach ๐Ÿ“ธ photos of your room and common areas if needed.

โœ… Your housekeeper ๐Ÿงน prepares and inspects the room before your arrival.
โœ… If we miss anything, filling out the form ensures you are not held responsible for pre-existing damages or missing items when you move out.
