What do we use?
Our key system is fully electronic and works with an app called the Unloc mobile app. 📱 The app is connected to your phone number and Bluetooth, making it easy to access your keys! 🔐
Receiving a Key
Download the Unloc mobile app on your Apple Store or GooglePlay🛠️ If you haven’t already downloaded the app, you will receive an SMS to get started
Enter and validate your phone number (via SMS). Once validated, you’ll have access to the app and the electronic key. All phone numbers are valid, regardless of the country code. 🌍
Phone number validation: You will need to validate with a phone number that can receive an SMS. Once validated, it does not matter if the phone number is no longer active. You can also later change your phone number in the app if you change numbers. 🔄
Accessing the keys: You will have access to keys for various doors (building door, apartment door, courtyard, etc.). 🏢🏠
iPhone users: You can directly add the keys to your wallet, so you don’t need to open the app every time to unlock doors. 📲
Android users: Open the app, click on the key, and then hold the phone next to the door handle to unlock it. 📡🚪
How to Open a Door with Unloc 🔑📱
Open the Unloc app on your phone.
Find your door in the app. Your keys will be listed under the building or block name (e.g., “My Block”).
Tap “Open” next to the door you want to unlock. The app’s scanner will help you confirm you are standing in front of the correct door.
Stand close to the door. For some locks, you may need to tap your phone directly on the lock.
Door opens – it’s that simple! ✅
Important Notes:
📅 When downloading the app, it will say that there is no key associated with the phone number. That is because the key will be available from your contract start date.
🔄 Access: You have an unlimited access function in the app, even if it always says 7 days into the future. But this automatically prolongs and will continue to say 7 days in the future, even though you have unlimited access.
⚡ If you run out of battery, you should go to a nearby shop, park, or bar/restaurant. They often offer a free charge for devices.
We recommend you download the app a few days before you arrive, as there can be a delay before you have access to the key. You only need the internet the first time opening the app. After that, the app works with the phone number and Bluetooth.
