How to Recycle? Who Takes Care of Taking the Trash Out? ♻️🗑️
Recycling Trash Bins
All our homes are equipped with recycling containers in the kitchen for your convenience. 🏡
To make the recycling process more organized, we’ve provided three bins:
General waste
Plastic waste
Organic waste
Additionally, there’s a separate bin for paper, cardboard, and milk/juice cartons. 📦🍶
Recycling Instructions
Please make sure to follow the guidelines provided by the Municipality of Oslo for proper sorting:
Food waste should be placed in green bags. 🥦
Plastic waste goes in purple bags. 🟣
Residual waste can be placed in ordinary waste bags or grocery bags. 🛍️

Who takes care of sorting and taking the trash out?
Members are fully responsible for sorting the waste properly into the correct trash bins. 🚮 The housekeeper will not re-sort waste if it's not properly done in advance. This could result in trash bins not being taken out. 🚫
Housekeepers will only take out the trash on their designated cleaning days. 🧹
If the trash bin is full outside of cleaning days, please make sure to take it to the courtyard and dispose of it in the designated trash containers yourself. 🏠🔄
Important Note: Housekeepers will not handle overflowing trash bins, full bags, or too heavy bags. They also won’t clean up extra waste due to private parties. 🎉
