No heating in your home in Oslo?

Having the heating cut off is extremely annoying, and we understand that this frustrates you a lot.

👋 This article is for members living in Oslo.

1️⃣ Check the LifeX app. We announce any planned heating cuts to different apartments as soon as we receive information from our landlords.

2️⃣ Check whether the whole apartment is without heating or only certain rooms by carefully feeling the radiators in other rooms, where applicable.

1️⃣ Check that the thermostat on the radiator is turned up (3 or higher).

2️⃣ Feel the top of the radiator. If it's cold at the top and warm at the bottom, it may need bleeding. Only attempt this if the radiator type and your building's instructions allow it.

3️⃣ Ask your housemates if their radiators are working. This helps establish whether the issue affects your room or the wider apartment.

4️⃣ Check whether the building uses central heating and whether heating is currently available according to the building's heating schedule, if applicable.

Keep windows and doors closed and draw your curtains to help keep the warmth in.
