πŸ” LifeX Insurance and Member Responsibilities

LifeX insurance does not cover members' personal belongings. Therefore, all members are required to have personal liability insurance that covers any damages they may cause to LifeX property. This includes damages caused by members themselves or their guests, regardless of whether the damage was intentional or accidental.

βœ… What Should Your Insurance Cover?

We recommend that your insurance covers costs associated with repairs or replacements due to damages caused to LifeX property, including:

  • 🏠 Accidental spills or stains on carpets or furniture

  • πŸ”¨ Damage to walls or floors from moving or hanging items

  • ⚑ Accidental breakage of appliances or common area equipment

  • πŸŽ‰ Damage to shared spaces, such as common kitchens or lounges, caused by parties or gatherings

⚠️ Why Is Personal Liability Insurance Important?

If a member does not have personal liability insurance, they will be held responsible for covering any damages they cause to our property out of their own pocket. To avoid unexpected costs, we strongly recommend obtaining coverage that includes liability for rental properties.
