LifeX insurance doesn't cover members' personal belongings. Therefore, all members are required to have personal liability insurance that covers any damages they may cause to our LifeX property. This includes damages caused by members themselves or their guests, regardless of whether the damage was intentional or not.

We recommend that your insurance covers costs associated with repairs or replacements due to damages caused to our LifeX property, such as:

  • Accidental spills or stains on carpets or furniture

  • Damage to walls or floors from moving or hanging items

  • Accidental breakage of appliances or common area equipment

  • Damage to shared spaces, such as common kitchens or lounges, caused by parties or gatherings

If a member is found to not have personal liability insurance, they will unfortunately be held responsible for covering any damages they cause to our property out of their own pocket.

You can read more about the liabilities and fees in this article.
