Your tenancy agreement cannot be terminated within the first 3 months from your lease start date.

๐น It also helps LifeX maintain a well-organised and consistent living environment while still offering flexibility to members.
๐ Important: If you terminate your contract before fulfilling the agreed minimum rental period, any discounts applied to your booking will need to be repaid in full.
Please note that we will not accept terminations before the 3-month minimum has passedโno exceptions. You will be required to cover all rental fees for the full 3-month period, even if you choose to leave early. This policy is strictly enforced and applies to all members, regardless of circumstances.

Your deposit will be returned to you within one calendar month after your contract ends, provided there are no outstanding charges or damages.

Yes! Your full deposit will be refunded if your room is returned in the same condition as when you moved in.

๐ How Long Do I Have to Sign My Contract?
Once you receive your contract, you have 48 hours to review and sign it.
โ ๏ธ If we do not receive your signed contract within this time, your booking will be canceled, and the room will be made available for other applicants.
๐ When Does My Membership Begin?
Your LifeX membership starts on the date stated in your contract, not on your arrival date.
๐ Contract Duration

French rental laws require that furnished apartment contracts have a maximum duration of 1 year.

๐น This means that while your contract states 1 year, your stay is unlimited unless you choose to leave.

No! Council tax is included in your rental price, so you wonโt receive a separate bill for this.

If your employer is covering part or all of your rent, we can arrange to send invoices directly to your company.
๐ก However, you must still sign the rental contract in your own name and remain personally responsible for it.
๐ Why Do I Need to Sign the Contract in My Name?
French law requires all tenants to register their residence at their home address. To do this, you need a rental contract in your own nameโeven if your company is paying.
๐ค What If My Company Is a LifeX Partner?
If you signed up through your companyโs LifeX landing page, invoicing arrangements have already been made with your HR or management team.
๐ง What If My Company Is Not a LifeX Partner?
